Vedatya is hosting an Open House for the 2026 admission session, offering prospective students and parents an opportunity to explore our campus, interact with faculty, and understand the academic pathways available across our specialised schools.

Ustaad x Shagird: Rasoi Edition is a one-of-a-kind culinary competition that brings together students and teachers in an exciting cooking challenge. In this unique format, a student (Class X–XII) partners with a teacher to create and present a signature main course dish.

The event celebrates creativity, collaboration, and the special bond between mentors and learners-transforming classrooms into kitchens and ideas into experiences.

Why Participate

1. Showcase creativity and culinary innovation
2. Gain hands-on experience in a professional kitchen setting
3. Learn teamwork, presentation, and storytelling through food

Competition Format

Each team will:

1. Consist of 1 student + 1 teacher
2. Prepare one signature main course dish (veg or non-veg)
3. Present 2 portions of the dish

Cuisine Options

Participants can choose to present:

1. Traditional Indian cuisine
2. Regional specialties
3. International cuisine
4. Fusion concepts

Time & Execution

1. Total Duration: 90 minutes
   • 60 minutes for cooking
   • 30 minutes for plating & presentation
2. Participants must bring their own ingredients
3. Basic pantry items will be provided at the venue

Judging Criteria

Entries will be evaluated on:

1. Creativity
2. Teamwork
3. Food Presentation
4. Storytelling

Awards & Recognition

1. Attractive awards for winners
2. Participation certificates for all contestants

Vedatya Summer Program offers an opportunity to learners in classes 9th, 10th, 11th & 12th to experience our unique learning approach, take part in varied academic and social activities alongside like- minded people from all over the country.

In 2026 we intend to cover the following streams at our Summer Program:

1. Hospitality, Events & Tourism Management
2. Business
3. Culinary Arts

It’s a great way to make new friends, meet people from a range of cultures and backgrounds and get first-hand experience of multiple career options in an applied way, with the opportunity to meet a wide range of seasoned industry leaders.

This includes teaching / training, lunch while on campus, day trip for industry connect. Participants will need to manage their commute to the campus. Hostel facility is available at an extra cost of INR. 15000/- plus applicable taxes on twin sharing basis and includes food.

Accommodation
Accommodation: 1500/- + applicable taxes, per day, including meals

Accommodation is provided in our on campus hostels on a twin share basis, separate for boys and girls.

Bedrooms must be kept clean and tidy, and inspections will be regularly made to ensure cleanliness and discipline. Bedding is supplied: however, students should bring their own towels and personal toiletries such as shower gel, soap, and shampoo etc.

The accommodation fee includes 2 nights, from 3rd June to 5th June. Students should plan to arrive no earlier than 3rd June, with the latest checkout on Friday, 5th June.

Dietary requirements and any allergies/medical conditions must be sent ahead of arrival. It’s safer not to carry large amounts of cash.

Meal provision Buffet Breakfast, lunch, Evening Snack and Dinner will be provided, A La Carte menu options will be available on paid basis.

Medical issues

If a student requires medical attention during the day, please inform a faculty/staff member immediately. They will assist in arranging a visit to a doctor or hospital. Contact details for staff members available after hours will be provided to all students. In case of a medical need during these times, reach out to the designated staff member for assistance.
